What to Expect From Our Nursing procedures
MAX@Home extends hospital-level nursing care to your residence, ensuring that you receive professional medical procedures without leaving your home. This service is designed for patients who require frequent nursing interventions but prefer the comfort and privacy of their own environment.- Expert Care
- Comprehensive Range
- Convenience and Comfort
Advanced Wound Care and Healing Techniques
- Sterile Dressing Techniques: In order to reduce the chances of infection and facilitate healing, our qualified personnel adhere to strict dressing changes. Whether it’s an incision wound or even a nursing home bedsores, our nurses ensure that every wound is treated using modern fashions of medicine.
- Advanced Wound Care Materials: Patient comfort and overall care are enhanced by incorporating additional advanced modalities such as hydrocolloid dressings, alginate pads and silver garments in wound management procedures.
Safe and Precise IV and Infusion Care
- High Precision IV Cannulation: Infusions are performed through veins by trained personnel with high precision IV cannulation thus watching for possible complications. There are also new types of butterfly needles and secure dressings which offer stability of the cannula during the treatment.
- Infusion Monitoring: When it comes to infusion monitoring, our nurses ensure that infusions rates are adequately monitored to deliver the required dose of the drug in the patient while preventing any adverse reaction which may occur during the procedure.
Expert Catheter Care and Hygiene
- Sterile Catheterization Procedures: As part of our treatment, our team transflects sterile catheter placement procedures so that the patients are comfortable and safe while the chances of UTIs are also lowered.
- Routine Catheter Maintenance: Where permanent catheters are required, we offer basic catheter maintenance whereby we change catheters, clean insertion sites and check for evidence of infection.
Post-Procedural Care and Monitoring
- 24/7 Post-Procedure Monitoring: There are other procedures for instance tracheostomy care or suture removal among others after which the patient is discharged to the ward. Our nurses also do close observations of the vitals of the patients and any changes for the likely complications.
- Comprehensive Recovery Plans: For the cases when the doctor feels that the patient needs additional care from the clinic, we work with the patient’s doctor and formulate individual recovery plans, helping especially traumatized patients accelerate the process of recovery while at home.
Infection Control and Safety Protocols
- Hospital-Grade Infection Control: Our nurses have to observe infection control policy which is in standard with hospital practices. That is all medical equipment and or personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand washing is done.
- Waste Management: Our top priority is the effective management of medical waste materials such as needles, dressings, bandages and surgical gloves that pose a contamination/infection risk to the patient during home care.
